I spent December 11 and 12 in Wrocław, at the Computer Composition Studio of the New Media Faculty at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music. This study visit was made possible thanks to support from the KPO for Culture program for my project, "From Studio to Network – Developing Creative Competencies in the Age of Technology." I familiarized myself with the tools and software used there, including original, proprietary solutions. I also had the opportunity to visit a studio where film scores.are produced. As an added bonus, I also led a class with students on hybrid methods of working with sound synthesis – using analog instruments, voltage control, and software, plug-ins, and methods for combining both technologies.
